My name is Connie Robertson, founder of Connie’s Coins LLC and I'm a full-time dealer offering affordable coins from around the world; specializing in world and ancients coins. In addition to selling on VCoins and my eBay store, I sell at various numismatic shows primarily in Florida, Georgia, and Virginia.I was the President of the Richmond Coin Club and Bourse Chair for 8 years where I coordinated two shows a year before moving to Florida in 2012.
I am a member of ANA (American Numismatic Association), VNA (Virginia Numismatic Association), FUN (Florida United Numismatists), and I am a dealer for NGC, a third-party grading company as well as NCS(Numismatic Conservation Services) and a member of PCGS.
I first became a collector when I inherited my Grandmother’s U.S. coins. As I began to catalogue and research the many different denominations, I began to realize that much of our history is documented in our coinage.I have found great pleasure in owning something that gives me a real connection to that history.Shortly thereafter, I began working for one of the largest coin and currency dealers in Richmond, Virginia:Gerald Schmidt of Imperial Coins which is now Capital City Coins & Currency.Jerry has taught me a lot about collecting, grading, and selling coins. It was through this experience that I expanded my collection into world and ancient coins. It was also through Jerry’s encouragement that I became a dealer and created Connie’s Coins.
This is actually my third career. After 25 years with a major IT corporation, I took early retirement from executive leadership.During my first year of retirement, I found myself directing my church choir after our director resigned with short notice. It was to be a temporary position until they could find a replacement; seven years later, I said “you’ve got to get serious”!!....and so they did.I still sing in the choir and assist with administration.I am married and have four amazing grandchildren.
I enjoy reading, dancing, singing, and traveling, but mostly I enjoy the hobby of numismatics and learning about our great heritage.I look forward to sharing my collection with you.
